Departmental Activities
The Department of Economics has organized the following seminars and workshops:
- UGC sponsored national seminar on 6th-7th December, 2016 on the topic "Education, Skill Development and Economic Growth in India.
- Bengal Economic Association and the Department of Economics, Prabhu Jagathbandhu College jointly organized a state level seminar on 15th-16th September, 2017 on the topic "Reforming the Indian Economy.
- One Day Training cum Workshop on Human Rights Education and its Awareness on 9th February, 2019. The National Human Rights Commission, New Delhi has approved this Training Program and sanctioned Rs 50,000/- for conducting this Program.
