SC & ST Cell

The people of Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) are both economically and socially backward in our country. The Constitution of India has taken various steps for the upliftment of SC and ST classes. In different Five years plans, the government of India (GOI) has formulated various plans/programmes of the development of those classes of the society. The exits the scholarships/stipends for SC/ST students, Besides, there is the provision for reservation of seats in different jobs or services in the public sector. Side by side, the various schemes and measures have been formulated for development of SC/ST of peoples engaged in different sectors of the economy. The SC/ST cell monitors the implementation of the above mentioned schemes for the welfare of SC/ST students of our college.
