Aims & Objectives
The underlying aim for the enhancement of the literacy rate and the level of awareness about the different problems related to social, political, cultural and economic nature among the people of this rural-based semi-urban area had led to the socially and economically well established people f the decade of 60’s to open a college with a very few students, hardly 3 or 4 teachers, 2 or 3 non-teaching staff, 2 or 3 rooms with average space. Given the socio economic condition of this area surrounded by the college where nearly 20% - 30% people lying in and round the poverty line and approximately 20% drop out candidates every year mainly due to poor economic conditions. The college therefore, endeavours, provide a better learning opportunity value and retain a real care for the less able and under-privileged so that they develop into self supporting individuals.
